Sinai Hospital president to step down, launch telemedicine startup

Sinai Hospital President Dr. Jonathan Ringo will leave his post later this year to lead a telemedicine startup, LifeBridge Health announced Wednesday. Ringo joined LifeBridge in 2014 to become the health system's first chief medical information officer, eventually moving onto the role of vice president of clinical transformation. He became interim president of Sinai in January 2017 and took the permanent position four months later. He is leaving the hospital system to become founder and CEO of Verappo, a new telemedicine company. (Balt. Bus. Journal)
